Welcome to the Sr.Borgia Elementary School, one of six Catholic elementary schools.

It is a relatively small school situated in the heart of Philipsburg, on the island of St.Maarten, Netherlands Antilles since 1978. This school year our school is celebrating 30 years of quality education.

Our school consists of 8 class rooms , we called groups 1 thru 8. Our education is divided into two cycles, with 4 groups per cycle.The age bracket ranges from 4- 12 years.

We stress both the academic, the spiritual and the social emotional formation of all students. The language of instruction at our school is the Dutch Language.

The English language is taught as a subject. Due to our uniqueness in size, our students are known on a first name basis and we enjoy a closeness that would be lost at a large school population.We are proud of our professional, dedicated and caring staff.

There is ongoing training of staff to ensure that the latest trends and approaches in education are being implemented.

Parental involvement is of utmost significance and we strive to keep our parents abreast of their children’s performances. We find the involvement of the community in our school important and maintain a stable relationship with various entities/businesses to make that practical connection to the real world.
